This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the second respondent authorities impugned ineligible list dated 17.02.2021 for the post of Assistant Professor (Education) in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for Government Colleges of Education for the year Page No.2 of 5
2018-19 notified by the second respondent through their website on 17.07.2021 and quash the same as illegal so far as it relates to the petitioner and consequently, direct the second respondent to include the name of the petitioner both in eligible list and interview called for list dated 17.02.2021 of candidates for selection for the post of Assistant Professor (Education) in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for Government Colleges of Education for the year 2018-19 and appoint the petitioner in the said post.
2. The learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that the second respondent has withdrawn the notification issued for selection of the post of Assistant Professor (Education) in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for Government Colleges of Education for the year 2018-19.
3. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed Page No.3 of 5
as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
