ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to respondents 2 and 3 to allot the vacant flat available in B-19 and B-15 in Pollachi Housing Unit, Pollachi, Coimbatore District by disposing his representation dated 10.07.2018 within a stipulated time.

2.According to the petitioner, he is working as Junior Assistant in Sulur Judicial Magistrate Court. When he approached the respondents for allotment of the rented quarters in Pollachi Housing Unit, the third respondent allotted Flat No.S-6 in the unit. Since he came to know that the said flat was already occupied by somebody and the same is not vacant, he approached the respondents and made a request to re-allot some other vacant flat. As the same has not been considered, he is before this Court seeking the above prayer.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 10.07.2018 made by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
