O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr.C.Sagayaraj, who is presently serving as Headmaster (In-charge) in the third respondent school viz., R.C.Fathima High School, Krishnagiri from 03.06.2005, seeking regular promotion to the post of Headmaster in the vacancy that fell vacant due to the retirement of the previous incumbent Thiru.R.S.Joseph during 2005.

2. The claim of the petitioner is that he has been working as Headmaster (In-charge) for the past ten years without any complaint and he is entitled to be conferred with the benefit of regular promotion as Headmaster as per G.O.Ms.No.153, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (FR-IV) Department dated 05.12.2017 under Fundamental Rule 49. submitted a representation dated 14.02.2018 to the respondents requesting them to give additional pay from 12.07.2005 and to approve the appointment of the petitioner in the post of Headmaster from the date of his appointment as Headmaster (Incharge). Since the first respondent, who is the competent authority, has not considered his representation till date, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent sought for four weeks time to consider the pending representation.

4. Placing on record the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
