This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to refund the excess stamp duty which is standing to the credit of the 4th respondent.
2.When the matter came up for hearing on 19.02.2025, the following order was passed by this Court:
Mr.K.Karthick Jagannath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for respondents.
2. Learned Government Advocate shall take instructions from the respondents regarding the representation made by the petitioner on 12.10.2023 seeking for refund of the excess stamp duty paid by the petitioner pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court in W.P.No.32268 of 2015, dated 19.07.2023.
3. Learned Government Advocate shall take instructions in this regard.
Post this writ petition under the caption 'for orders' on 12.03.2025.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is under consideration by the 1st respondent and a decision will be taken within the time frame fixed by this Court.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the communication made by the 4th respondent in favour of the 3rd respondent dated 17.05.2024, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
