The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 311, 351(3) of BNS, 2023 ( Under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 324, 397 & 506(ii) of IPC) in Crime No.618 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against that the petitioner is that the petitioner is ranked as A1 in this case and waylaid and attacked him and punched him on his mouth and also attacked him using knife, due to which, defacto complainant sustained injuries. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the injured has been discharged from the hospital. He further submitted that, petitioner has four previous cases, hence he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Considering the nature of injuries sustained by the defacto complainant and also the fact that the petitioner has four previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
