Crl.M.P.No.2093 of 2020 in H.C.P.No.2380 of 2019 R.SUBBIAH, J and R.PONGIAPPAN, J This petition has been filed seeking extension of ordinary leave for a period of 30 days i.e. from 19.02.2020 to 18.03.2020 to the petitioner's husband viz., Janardhanan, S/o.Ananda Pothy, aged 61 years, Convict Prisoner, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai-66.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the health condition of the life convict is very critical.

3. Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor on the above submissions.

4. Considering the submissions made, this Court extends the ordinary leave for a period of 30 days i.e. from 19.02.2020 to 18.03.2020 to the life convict.

5. The life convict shall be taken back to prison on 18.03.2020 at 05.00 p.m.

The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, accordingly, is ordered.
