This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 1 to 3 to pay the service benefits of the deceased employee, Lakshmanan, Pump Operator with the Tamilnadu Housing Board, Hosur to the petitioner together with interest @ 24% p.a.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that pending writ petition, on subsequent submission of the succession certificate from District Munsif and Judicial Magistrate, the death benefits of late S.Lakshmanan and the family pension was sanctioned and paid to the petitioner by the proceedings dated 17.04.2013. Thereafter, the petitioner also died on 25.11.2015 and the family pension was also sanctioned by the proceedings dated 10.06.2021 to the minor adopted son of the diseased under Rule 49,6(iii) of Tamilnadu Pension Rules, 1978. Now, the minor son is paid family pension till he attains the age of 25.
