Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take immediate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2020 in respect of the lands belonging to Arulmigu Maariamman Temple, at Thesavilaku vadaku Village, in S.No.191/4A1 measuring to an extent of 0.41 cents and at S.No.191/6B1 measuring to an extent of 0.84 cents altogether 1.25.

O R D E R

Mr.R.P.Prathap Singh, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R1 to R3 and Mr.R.Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R4 and both are armed with instructions to dispose the writ petition finally, even at the stage of admission.

2. Though representation dated 20.07.2020 has been filed by the petitioners before all the respondents, Mr.Prathap Singh would submit that the appropriate authoirty to consider and pass orders on the same would be the first respondent/the District Collector, Salem.

3. Thus a direction is issued to the District Collector, Salem to hear the petitioner and pass orders on the representation filed by the petitioners, admittedly pending before him, within a period of six (6) weeks from today.

4. Since the only relief sought for is Mandamus seeking disposal of the representation, nothing further survives in this matter and the writ petition is disposed in the aforesaid terms. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
