Ms.Ramya Revathy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the second respondent to issue Patta in their favour in respect of Natham Land comprised in T.S.Nos.4 and 5 measuring an extent of 51 cents situated at Nagireddy Garden Extension, Ekattuthangal, Chennai-600 032, based on their representation dated 18.11.2017.

4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 18.11.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioners and the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
