PRAYER: This criminal original petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to relax the bail condition to appear and sign before the respondent police on every day at 06.30 p.m., until further orders as set out in the order dated 02.01.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.32342 of 2024. For Petitioner :

This petition has been filed to relax the bail condition to appear and sign before the respondent police on every day at 06.30 p.m., until further orders in the order dated 02.01.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.32342 of 2024.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the condition imposed by this Court; and that the charge sheet is yet to be filed.
3. Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of the offence, the condition imposed in para no. 5(b) on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.32342 of 2024 dated 02.01.2025 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police twice a month, i.e., on the first Monday and third Monday of every month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
