Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records of the second respondent in connection with the detention order passed vide Order No.12/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 13.01.2021, against petitioners husband Muthukumar S/o.Subramani, aged about 28 years, who is now confined at

Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court, set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.PONGIAPPAN, J] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu Muthukumar S/o.Subramani, aged about 28 years, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.12/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 13.01.2021. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.12/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 13.01.2021 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.1033, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 27.02.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
