This original petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities in the name of M.Sankaranaryanan, who died on 06.11.2023. The 1st petitioner is his wife; the 2nd petitioner is his son and the 3rd petitioner is his mother. The details of the securities had been given in the schedule to the petition.

2.After following due procedure, the petitioners were invited to tender evidence. Accordingly, the death certificate of Sankaranarayanan had been marked as Ex.P1. The legal heir certificate of Sankaranarayanan had been marked as Ex.P2. The Aadhar card of 1st, 2nd and 3rd petitioners have been marked as Exs.P3 to P5. The statement of holding as on 30.01.2024 had been marked as Ex.P6. Memo filed by the petitioners regarding paper publication had been marked as Ex.P7. Certificate under section 65-B of Evidence Act had been marked as Ex.P8.

3.In view of the evidence adduced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of the 1st petitioner in accordance with the rules.
