ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 23.12.2022 seeking disconnection of electricity service connection in No. 502- 021- 306 at S.F. No. 8/30 , Itchankaranai Village, Kattankalathur , Chengalpet on merits and as per law, after hearing the 3rd respondent within a time to be stipulated by this Court.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 23.12.2022 to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking disconnection of electricity service connection in No. 502- 021- 306 at S.F. No. 8/30 , Itchankaranai Village, Kattankalathur , Chengalpet. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
3. In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2022 will be
disposed of by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and also perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the limited scope of relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2024 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent and also after hearing them.
