Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st respondent herein viz the Inspector of Police attached to Modakurichi Police Station, Erode District NOT TO HARASS HIM unnecessarily on the pretext of some enquiry in connection with a false and frivolous case.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent herein, viz., the Inspector of Police attached to Modakurichi Police Station, Erode District not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that, a 14 year old girl by name Kokila is missing, in respect of which a case in Cr.No.73 of 2015 has been registered by the respondent police, in which, the involvement of Ganesh Kumar, the petitioner's son is suspected.

4. Under such circumstances, the police are requesting the petitioner to co-operate with them in the investigation of the case. Hence, no blanket order of 'not to harass' can be passed. The petitioner is directed to assist the police and during the course of such assistance, he shall not be harassed.
