O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the I.D.O.P.No.2568 of 2018 pending on the file of VI Additional Family Court at Chennai.

2. The petitioner, who is he husband has filed a petition for divorce in I.D.O.P.No.21 of 217 on the file of the Principal District Court at Vellore against the respondent, wife. The respondent herein filed a petition for transfer of this petition to Chennai and it has been transferred to VI Additional Family Court at Chennai and renumbered as I.D.O.P.No.2568 of 2018. Thereafter, the respondent has filed a petition for restitution of conjugal right in I.D.O.P.No.4143 of 2017 and the trial has been commenced, the petitioner has been examined. Thereafter, the matter has been adjourned periodically. In the above circumstances, the present revision has been filed.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the revision, without going into the merits of the case and also the fact that I.D.O.P. is pending from the year 2018, the VI Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is directed to dispose the I.D.O.P.No.2568 of 2018 within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
