ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 20.05.2015, he has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On going through the materials available on record, it is seen that the petitioner has lodged a complaint in person with the Commissioner of Police on 20.5.2015 and it has not been known about the fate of the complaint. There are serious allegations of fraud made out therein.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint in writing and in person to the Deputy Commissioner of Central Crime Branch, who shall receive the same and allot an officer for enquiry and the said officer shall conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
