This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner/defacto complainant dated 20.04.2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Ambur Police Station, Vellore District.

2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint to the CBCID and even in the petition, the CBCID has been made as a respondent. The CBCID can register a case only on the directions of superior Police Officers or this Court. Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint before the jurisdictional police.
