2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property measuring 61 cents ( 1st thakku) and 10 cents (2nd thakku) in S.No.55/2A, 33 cents in S.No.52/6 and 20 cents in S.No.67/5, situated at Vaanapuram Village, Thandarampet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. Hence, the petitioner made an application on 17.08.2021 for issuance of a separate patta before the respondent. However, till date no order has been passed by the respondent on the application made by the petitioner.

3. Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance', the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the patta has already been issued to the petitioner in respect of the land in S.No.52/6 and the petitioner's application for issuance of Patta in respect of the land in S.No.67/5 was rejected on the ground that there was a settlement talk in between the petitioner and his family members. The learned counsel for the petitioner also ratifies the same.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Hence, this writ petition stands closed . No costs.
