Contempt Petition No.474 of 2020 Collectorate, who was the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ponneri, Thiruvallur District and Mr.Manikandan, the Tahsildar, Ponneri Taluk, are present and submitted that pursuant to the order passed in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.5523 of 2018 dated 25.06.2018, the authorities have removed the entire encroachment and took possession of the property in dispute. Further, the Tahsildar, submitted that as of today, there is no encroachment in the land in question. To that effect, the Tahsildar has also filed an affidavit dated 29.03.2021 stating that the entire encroachment in the land in question has been removed.

2.In view of the compliance of the order passed in the Writ Petition, we do not find any reason to keep the Contempt Petition pending. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
