2. It is seen that the petitioner is the complainant in both the cases filed for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act as against the respondent herein. The petitioner has sought transfer from the file of the FTC No.II, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore. There are so https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

many cases are pending at the stage of service of notice to the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner sought for transfer of both the cases to the other court for trial on the ground on which the petition filed by the petitioner have to be considered for transfer and as such both the petitions are devoid of merits.

3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
