Writ appeal under clause 15 of the Letters Patent to set aside the order dated 17.3.2011 passed in W.P. No: 3712 of 2010 Petition under Article 226 of the Cautitution of Praying for the issuance of Writ of Certioraritied mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.10574/2008/NMS-1-65 dated 10.9.2009 appointing the 3rd respondent as noon meal organiser and to quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner as per the list sponsored by 2nd respondent dated 19.1.2009. For petitioner : No Appearance For 1st respondent : Mr. R. Shivakumar .. .. ..

O R D E R

( Judgment of the Court was delivered by V.Dhanapalan, J.) This writ appeal was admitted on 18.05.2011. Thereafter when this matter was listed on 13.01.2015, this Court made the following order :

" When this matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent/writ petitioner would submit that the order under appeal has been implemented and that the writ petitioner has been selected and appointed as Noon Meal Organiser and therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this W.A. However, the learned counsel for the appellant called absent. Therefore post the matter "For Dismissal" on 21.01.2015."

2. Today when the matter is listed under the caption "For Dismissal" neither the appellant nor the counsel for the appellant is present to adjudicate the matter or to give any information about the status of the case. If that is the position, we have no other option but to dismiss the writ appeal. Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed for non prosecution. Connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
