Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2018 and pass orders on merits. For Petitioner :

This matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing mode.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking for mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2018.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Based on a Civil Court decree, the petitioner sought for change of patta. The grievance of the petitioner is that such request has not been considered so far.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, since it is for the concerned officer viz., the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet to consider and pass orders. The petitioner has not made the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet as a party/respondent in this writ petition.

However, the petitioner shall present the representation made before the respondent to the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet, within a period of two weeks, for him to consider and pass appropriate orders, after hearing all the parties concerned.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of as follows:

(a) The petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation made before the respondent to the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(b) On receipt of such representation, the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet, shall consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter, after hearing all the parties concerned.

No costs.
