O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 12.12.2016, within a time frame.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has given a representation dated 12.12.2016 to the 1st respondent to delete his father's name in patta No. 120 and issue patta in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

name of the legal heirs of the deceased P. Govind Gounder. However, the 1st respondent has not considered the same yet and passed any orders.

3. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2016 and pass orders, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
