Mr.Periyasamy, Sub-Inspector of Police, was present at the time of hearing through video conferencing. 2.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that an alteration report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sendamangalam, Namakkal District and the offences have been altered to Section 294(b), 326, 506(ii) and 307 of IPC. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the investigation is proceeding effectively and the same will be completed as expeditiously as possible.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the subsequent development that has been taken place in this case, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to effectively continue with the investigation
and file a final report, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
