ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 04.12.2025, against the punishment imposed in PR No.23/2001 U/r 3(b) of TNPSS (D & A) Rules, 1955 and the order in appeal issued Rc. No.011895 / AP.III(1)/ 2019 dated 20.09.2019 of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai within a reasonable time frame.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2025 within a specified time.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2025 and pass appropriate

orders on the same in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
