ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.06.2023 within the time fixed by this Court. 2.

Heard Mr.T.V.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Satish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents.

The petitioner applied for issuance of patta through on-line mode

which was rejected by the 3 rd respondent through proceedings dated 28.12.2022. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 2 nd respondent dated 14.06.2023. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.06.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It goes without saying that the petitioner must be given an opportunity at the time of hearing the appeal.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
