O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking police protection to survey the land comprised in Survey Numbers 260/1A, 260/8C, 269/2F, and 260/8, situated at Pottirettipatti Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District.

2. The petitioner is the owner of the land comprised in the aforementioned survey numbers, located at Pottirettipatti Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District. The petitioner intends to conduct a survey of the land and has made an application to the concerned revenue authority, along with payment of the requisite fees.

However, no surveyor has been engaged to conduct the survey as of yet. In the event that a surveyor is appointed by the competent authority to survey the petitioner's land and if the surveyor encounters any difficulty or obstruction by the fourth respondent (the neighbor), the surveyor is at liberty to request police protection from the third respondent. Upon receiving such a request, the third respondent shall conduct an enquiry and, if necessary, provide adequate police protection to facilitate the survey of the petitioner's land.

3. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
