2.The case of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent had called for applications for filling up the post of Anganvadi Employee at Puliyampatti Village, Chengam Taluk, Triruvannamali District. The petitioner had also attended the interview and produced all her certificates. Initially, the 3rd respondent was selected and later it was found that the 3rd respondent had produced bogus certificates and therefore her candidature was cancelled.
3.The 3rd respondent approached this Court and questioned the cancellation of selection and this Court by an order dated 30.04.2019, dismissed the writ petition. 4.It is also seen from records that one Vasuki was thereafter selected and she was also not appointed to the said post.
5.
Mr.P.S.Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the selection pertained to the year 2017 and no one was selected for the post of Anganvadi Employee. 6.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.
7.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the selection pertained to the year 2017 and already two years have elapsed and no one has been selected pursuant to the earlier notification, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. 8.This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue a fresh notification calling for application to fill up the post of Anganvadi Employee and it is left open to the petitioner to participate in the selection. This process shall be started by the 2nd respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VI) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar kP 2/6
