O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by RAJIV SHAKDHER, J.]

1. The prayer made in the petition is that the detenu/Palani, Son of Mr.Ranganathan, be transferred to Central Prison, Cuddalore from Central prison, Palayamkottai.

2. Pursuant to our orders dated 12.10.2017 and 25.10.2017, a counter affidavit has been filed by the State.

3. Mr. V.M.R.Rajentran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, says that the State is agreeable to transfer the detenu/Palani to Central prison, Puzhal,Chennai.

4. Counsel for the petitioner says that it would suffice.

5. It is ordered accordingly. The detenu/Palani, shall stand transferred forthwith to Central prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

6. The petition is, accordingly, closed.

7. We may also note that Mr.D.Pazhni, Superintendent of central prison, Cuddalore and Mr.G.B.Sentamaraikannan, Superintendent of central prison, Palayamkottai are present in Court.
