Respondents (R7 suo motu impleaded vide order dated 5.6.2018) PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take action to remove the encroachments in Angappa Naicken Street, Parrys, Chennai on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 6.3.2018.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even on the last two dates, i.e., 30.1.2019 and 29.1.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner.

2. In the order dated 30.1.2019, it is reflected that there is no representation for the petitioner and also on 29.1.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter to be posted today, i.e., 31.1.2019, under the caption "for dismissal".

3. The prayer of the petitioner is to remove the encroachments in Angappa Naicken Street, Parrys, Chennai, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 6.3.2018.

4. The learned counsel for respondents 1, 3 and 5 states that the said encroachment has been removed.

5. As stated earlier, there is no representation for the petitioner even today. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
