ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 4 th respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner

3/6 on 29.01.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the sub division and for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner for the subdivided property. 2.Heard Mr.J.Jayamalan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.It is seen from records that already a request made by the petitioner is pending on the file of the 4 th respondent and the 4 th respondent has informed the Chief Minister Special Cell that already a survey has been conducted and the boundaries have been marked and the petitioner was asked to submit an application seeking for sub division and for issuance of patta. 4.Pursuant to the said communication, the petitioner had made a representation seeking for issuance of separate patta to the District Collector and a copy of the same was also marked to the 4 th respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4/6 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 4 th respondent to act upon the application and to pass necessary orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
