The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct enquiry and award adequate compensation to the petitioner within stipulated period of time in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner had died. Accordingly, prays for appropriate orders.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner has died already, this court records the same and accordingly, this petition stands closed.
