ORDER

The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of F.C.O.P.No.231 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court at Namakkal District to the file of the Family Court at Chengalpattu.

2. Despite service of notice on the respondent, the respondent failed to appear before this Court either in person or through counsel. The respondent is called and set ex-parte.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the affidavit filed in support of this transfer petition.

4. . Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is a resident of the Chengalpattu and citing inconvenience to attend the proceedings before the Family Court, Namakkal, especially in view of the distance to be travelled, every occasion, has sought for transfer. It is also stated that, the petitioner has to take care of her aged parents and two minor children who are studying in school.

5. I am satisfied that the petitioner has made out case for transfer as prayed for. In view of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the case in F.C.O.P.No.231 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Family Court at Namakkal District and Page No.2 of 4

transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chengalpattu. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
