COD is qua 250 days in filing Criminal Appeal being Crl.A.SR.No.7642 of 2023 against the judgment dated 06.04.2022 in S.C.No.77 of 2020 on the file of learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai.

2. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondent and submits that no other appeal has been preferred by the petitioner.

3. Mr.S.Yogaraja Sekar, learned counsel representing the counsel on record for petitioner is before us.

4. Learned counsel, adverting to paragraph No.6 of the support affidavit submits that time taken to mobilize funds to meet the legal expenses is the reason for delay.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the matter, we have no difficulty in accepting the reason qua COD prayer.

6. Captioned Crl MP ordered as prayed for. Delay condoned. There shall be no order as to costs.
