Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith consider the representation dated 18.12.2018 in a time bound manner and issue individual patta in respect of S.No.230/2 at Komarapalayam Village, Coimbatore District in the light of the G.O.Ms.No.465 dated 27.11.2018 issued by the Tamil Government (Revenue and Disaster Management Department) to each petitioners and to pass orders in accordance with law.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The petitioners seek for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider their representation dated 18.12.2018, wherein and whereby, they sought for issuance of individual patta in respect of S.No.230/2, Komarapalayam Village, Coimbatore District.
4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far.
5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 18.12.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioners and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
