ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent viz., Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Vepery, Chennai 600 007 to register a case against the aforesaid persons on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 15.04.2016 vide CSR No.71 of 2016 dated 23.04.2016 and file a final report before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that based on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.04.2016, the petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.71/2016, before the respondent.

Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [(2014) 4 SCC 1], otherwise, the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
