ORDER

The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in 43803/2016 dated 21.12.2016, came forward to file the present contempt petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader [Forests] would submit that the order, which is the subject matter of contempt, has been complied with vide communication of the 1st respondent addressed to the Special Government Pleader [Forests], High Court, Chennai dated 29.01.2018 in Ref.No.LL1/11443/2017, wherein it has been stated that a proposal to implement the order of this Court has already been sent to the Government and the same is under consideration. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings, which is taken on file and record. In the light of the same, the contempt petition is closed.
