Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to grant parole to the detenue Sundharam, son of Late.Theepanchi (Detention order dated 12.08.2020 in S.C.No.02 of 2020 passed by the 2nd respondent) who is lodged at Central Prison, Salem to attend the marriage function of his son Manikandan and Abitha going to be held on 24.02.2021 at Karthanur Village, Pappireddypatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District pending disposal of the above Habeas Corpus Petition and pass further or other orders and thus render justice.

ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to grant leave to the detenu who has been detained under Act 14 of 1982 in order to attend the marriage function of his son.
2.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the detention order passed against the husband of the petitioner is already under challenge in H.C.P.No.1672 of 2020. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the petition was filed before the Bench in Crl.M.P.No.1883 of 2021 seeking for leave to attend the marriage and the said petition was disposed of by the Bench by granting liberty to the petitioner to make an appropriate representation before the Government under Section 15(1)(2) of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982).
3. In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition except giving liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the Government seeking for the leave to enable the detenu to attend the marriage of his son to be held on 24.02.2021. The representation shall be considered immediately by the 1st respondent and a decision shall be taken by tomorrow. The petitioner is permitted to make the representation through email also along with a copy of this order.
