Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to write the examination for the B.E.Engineering Course (Computer Science) to be held on and from 18.02.2021 to 02.03.2021.

ORDER

The writ petitioner has approached this Court in the last minute for writing her arrear examination.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Vijay Kumar, learned Standing counsel, who took notice for the respondent University would submit that this petitioner has not paid the required examination fees and therefore it is very difficult to allow her at this moment for writing the examination. In view of the pandemic situation, the examinations are conducted through online process. This online examination is a lengthy process https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

which requires uploading of the information into the Server and that requires some details, which cannot be complied within the stipulated time, when already examinations were commenced and three of her arrear examinations have already been completed. He would further submit that the petitioner is eligible to write the examination upto 2023.

3.In view of the said submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the Anna University, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner shall be cautious for the next semester examination and pay the arrear fees in advance and write the examination. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
