Respondents The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner and their entire family members of the Thottiya Naickers Community people to enter into Sri Bhagawathy Amman Temple, situated at Ramakrishna Colony, Kolathur village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, consequently to worship the God and Goddess of the said temple, by participating in the Kumbabisheham festival going to be held on 2nd or third April, 2014, by forming the Kumbabisheham festival celebration committee including the petitioners in the said committee.

ORDER
Heard.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioners and the members of their family to enter Sri Bhagawathy Amman Temple, situated at Ramakrishna Colony, Kolathur village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, and to participate in the Kumbabisheham festival, to be held, on the 2nd or 3rd April, 2014, by forming the Kumbabisheham festival celebration committee, including the petitioners in the said committee.
The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5 had submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the fact that the Kumbabisheham of Sri Bhagavathy Amman Temple had already been held on the 2nd and 3rd of April, 2014.
The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has not disputed the said fact, as submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the relief prayed for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, cannot be granted. Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed, as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
