ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2023 regarding deposit of compensation amount towards the acquisition of petitioner's grandmother's land, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since the Writ Petition is filed seeking a simple Writ of Mandamus to consider the representation date 13.12.2023, this Court 2/5

without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to issue notice to the petitioner, rival claimants/interested/objectors if any as the case may be and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
