This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No. 667 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side).

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that there is a case in counter in Crime Nos.667 of 2023 and 668 of 2023 and the same are pending investigation before the first respondent.

4.In view of the above, there is no question of interfering with the F.I.R. in one of the case and both the cases will have to be investigated by the first respondent.

5.Hence the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. This criminal original petition is dismissed and the respondent Police is directed to proceed further with the investigation in both FIRs in accordance with law and complete the 2/4

investigation and file a final report or a closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
