ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Sub Judge, Tambaram to dispose the I.A.No.99 of 2017 in O.S.No.75 of 2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner is the 4th defendant and the respondent is the plaintiff in O.S.No.75 of 2015. The suit is filed for permanent injunction restraining the petitioner and three others from interfering with respondent's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said suit property. In the said suit, the petitioner filed in I.A.No.99 of 2017 under Section 8 of the Arbitration Act. In the said application, the respondent filed counter on 13.02.2017. From that date, the said application is pending for enquiry. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present civil revision petition, for speedy disposal of the said I.A.No.99 of 201.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition and since the suit is pending from the year 2015, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned Sub Judge, Tambaram, to

dispose of the I.A.No.99 of 2017, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
