ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to cancel the fraudulent registration vide document No.434/2016 dated 29.02.2016 on the file of the 4th respondent, based on his representation dated 07.03.2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that insite of the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2017, the 12th respondent viz., the District Registrar, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai District, has not passed any order so far.

3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 to 5 and 12 submitted that the 12th respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 6 to 11.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 12th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the respondents 6 to 11.
