The learned counsel for the petitioner states that a statutory appeal has been filed challenging the impugned order of assessment before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) on 12.02.2020. He thus wishes to withdraw this writ petition and pursue the appeal instead and has made an endorsement in this regard. This writ petition is thus dismissed as withdrawn. 2.Liberty is granted to the petitioner to move the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) seeking expeditious disposal of the appeal as well as interim protection, if required and such requests, if made, may be considered expeditiously and in accordance with law.
