ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the affairs of the petitioner's club, viz., AAA Sports and Social Welfare Club Namakkal at Chettair Plot No.95, Keerambur, Namakkal Taluk, Namakkal District. 2.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that as against the petitioner so far four cases have been registered on the file of the third respondent in Crime Nos.203 of 2023; 40 of 2024; 236 of 2024 & 275 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 9 & 12 of Tamil Nadu Gaming Act, 1930. After registration of the FIR, two cases are ended in conviction and in one case, the respondent police filed final report and in one case the investigation is pending.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the petitioner is being an accused and indulged in the criminal activity repeatedly, he cannot seek such a direction as against the respondents. Therefore, the writ petition itself devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
