O R D E R

(Order of the Court made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition as a Public Interest Litigation to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent not to collect the toll charges at Paranur Toll Plaza at Chengalpet Talk and District until completion of the Palar river renovation work and consequently directing the respondent to identify the correct and better routes for motorist to reach Chennai.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. Su.Srinivasan, learned Standing Counsel, taking notice for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent submitted that the renovation work of the Palar river is in progress and is likely to be completed in a week's time.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, we do not find any reason to give any further direction to the respondent. The submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent is recorded and the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
