Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to direct the respondent to deposit the entire award amount with interest in MCOP.No.170/2012 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal Vellore in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Vellore. (in CMP No.9864 of 2017) pending disposal CMA.604/2014. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.GOUTHAMAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.S.V.VASANTHA KUMAR, Advocate for the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed by the the petitioner /claimant seeking to direct the respondent / transport corporation to deposit the entire award amount with interest in M.C.O.P. No.170 of 2012 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Vellore in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vellore and on such deposit to permit the petitioner to withdraw 50% of award amount with interest accrued thereon.

3. It is represented that no amount has been deposited so far. There is no justification to remain silent without depositing the amount, as ordered by the claims Tribunal. Therefore, the respondent / transport corporation is directed to deposit entire award amount within a period of six weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order.
