O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been filed to call for the records and set aside the judgment passed by the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai - 600 015 on 02.12.2022 and direct the respondent to file an FIR and take necessary steps.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's brother Aravamudhan was missing at Mumbai and as on date no information about his availability. Hence, he had given a complaint before R6-Kumaran Nagar Police Station. Since they have not taken action, the petitioner filed a complaint before the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai for forwarding the complaint under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C to R6Kumaran Nagar Police Station and to register the case for investigation. Since the learned Magistrate dismissed the said petition, the petitioner filed this Criminal Revision.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the case has been registered in Crime No.104 of 2023 for man missing and he has also filed a copy of the FIR.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Revision is closed with a direction to the respondent police to investigate and to find the missing person as early as possible.
