Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2018 submitted with regard to survey and issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the properties of an extent of hectares 4.60.0 (Acre 11.36 cents) comprised in Punjai Survey No.262/2, Old Survey No.100-A in Gundri Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District.

O R D E R Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of his representation dated 28.12.2018, wherein and whereby, he sought for survey and issuance of patta in respect of the properties measuring an extent of hectares 4.60.0 (Acre 11.36 cents) comprised in Punjai Survey No.262/2, Old Survey No.100-A in Gundri Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk,

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation is still pending and not disposed of, so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents 4 & 5 to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents 4 & 5 to consider the representation dated 28.12.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 4 & 5 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
